Champions 4 Children Golf Classic set for November 7th

Macon, GA— 10/11/2019 — Registration is open for the 3rd Annual Jeff Smith Automotive and United Way of Central Georgia Champions 4 Children Golf Classic.  This year’s tournament is Thursday, November 7th and for the first time, will be played at two local golf courses: The Club at River Forest and Houston Lake Country Club.  The proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Little Shot and Summer Camp United.
 
“The purpose of this event is to provide camping and educational experiences for children in Central Georgia that otherwise would not have this opportunity,” said George McCanless, President and CEO of United Way of Central Georgia. “This includes Camp Little Shot, which focuses on children living with diabetes, as well as other camps and summer activities for our underprivileged children.”
 
Each golf team will be made up of three players. Team cost is $1,000 and includes lunch, the awards party, beverages, golf cart, green fees, range balls, team photograph and the event gift. The tee package includes five door prize tickets, a Bomber, and a Greenie. Teams will also have their choice of golf course (based on availability). Corporate sponsor team packages are also available.
 
Registration will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 7th with a shotgun start at 11:00 am.  Golfers can register today by clicking here.
