Women United

Women United is a committed group of volunteers, donors, and activists who are dedicated to creating lasting change for children and families across Central Georgia. Through leadership, service, and collective giving, Women United supports initiatives that help families especially ALICE households (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) move toward financial stability.

Whether you are a longtime supporter or newly connected to our work, there is a place for you in Women United.

WOMEN UNITED IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Women United members help bring powerful initiatives to life in our community. Here’s how your support is already making a difference:

Southfield

Women United has sponsored Read United at Southfield Elementary, providing individualized reading support to struggling K-3 students. This one-on-one tutoring helps build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and change the trajectory of a child's education and future.

Girls Reading

Through the support of Women United, fifty-eight young children are now receiving a free book delivered to their home each month. This support helps them develop early literacy skills and discover a passion for reading long before they enter a classroom.

Why Women United?

Women United brings together women who are passionate about:

  • Strengthening families
  • Advancing early literacy
  • Moving more ALICE families toward financial stability
  • Serving through hands-on volunteerism
  • Investing collectively to create measurable change

Members contribute annually, engage in volunteer opportunities, attend networking and leadership events, and advocate for initiatives that uplift our community.

When women come together with purpose, powerful change happens.
