United Way of Central Georgia Hosts 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge

United Way of Central Georgia invites the Central Georgia Community to walk, run, or bike with a purpose during its 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge.

Participants in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge are encouraged to raise $100 by creating their own fundraising pages and sharing photos and stories about why they support UWCG - all while walking, running, or riding with a purpose!

Participants can keep track of their progress using a personal fundraising page, get points when they complete additional activities, and see when friends donate. Participants who raise $100 or more will receive an event t-shirt.

“For our 100th anniversary celebration we really wanted to involve the Central Georgia community. Disrupting the cycle of family poverty in our region is a community-wide effort. We hope the community will enjoy this event, and their support will help ensure that Central Georgia's next 100 years will be equitable, where everyone is healthy, educated, and financially stable,” said UWCG President and CEO George McCanless.

Individual and team registration is now open. The 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge officially begins April 10, 2022.
